Hogan & Hartson’s food and agriculture attorneys approach client challenges from a unique industry perspective, helping clients navigate the complex domestic and international food and agriculture scene regardless of the issue. With broad regulatory and legislative experience complemented by real world food industry experience, our practice advises companies and trade associations in all segments of the food chain, from farm to table. We are not simply lawyers who understand food law and regulation; we understand the food and agriculture industry.

Having served in various key leadership positions in government as well as the private sector, our attorneys have been involved in every major food and agriculture initiative over the past 30 years. We use this experience to our clients’ benefit whether we are representing them before the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Consumer Product Safety Commission, another federal or state agency, or a Congressional committee or other legislative body in public policy development or regulatory compliance; helping them prepare for and manage a product recall; or advising on product manufacturing, labeling and marketing considerations. Our goal is to help our clients achieve their goals, whatever the forum.
